On December 6, 2023, the ANSO project "Promotion and Application of Low-cost Intelligent Water Purification Technology in Central Asia" undertaken by Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography CAS together with the Hefei "the Belt and Road" Science and Technology Industry Innovation Alliance and the Research Center for Ecology and Environment of Central Asia CAS successfully held the first China-Kyrgyzstan Science and Technology Industry Cooperation Forum in Bishkek.

     The relevant departments such as the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan and the Water Supply & Drainage Authority of Kyrgyzstan were invited to attend this Forum, while many Kyrgyz enterprises presented the Forum, and 10 Chinese enterprises made presentations in this Forum. Moreover, Hefei "the Belt and Road" Science and Technology Industry Innovation Alliance introduced a number of science and technology enterprises for product and technology presentations, and the Forum focused on water-saving technology, agricultural breeding, animal vaccines, energy saving & environmental protection, photovoltaic and other Chinese strategic new industries. After the Chinese side's presentations, Chinese and Kyrgyz enterprises conducted deep exchange on product & technology and reached cooperation.

     By holding this Science and Technology Forum, the communication between China and Kyrgyzstan on science and technology industry cooperation has been deepened, the scientific and cultural exchange between China and Kyrgyzstan has been promoted, and the scientific and technological industry cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China has been enhanced.
