On January 10, the International Seminar on "UAV Technology and Practical Application" co-organized by the Research Center for Ecology and Environment of Central Asia CAS and the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan was successfully held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. This meeting was co-sponsored by the Research Center for Ecology and Environment of Central Asia CAS and the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, and representatives from Chinese scientific research institutions and UAV enterprises as well as more than 50 relevant experts and scholars from the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Education of Tajikistan, and the Ministry of Hydrology & Water Resources of Tajikistan attended this meeting.

In the thematic presentation session, the experts conducted deep discussions on UAV system, networking technology, load application, and their latest application research in the fields of 3D urban modeling, glacier monitoring, artificial weather, agriculture, natural disaster response, surveying & mapping, and security.

The holding of this meeting not only presented the latest progress of UAV technology, but also would enhance the cooperation in the future to promote the sharing of UAV monitoring technology and the personnel training, and to constantly promote the application and cooperation of UAV technology in wider fields such as scientific research, environmental monitoring, agriculture, and urban planning.
