First Announcement

Dear Colleagues!

We invite participants from all over the world to attend the International Conference "Actual issues of environmental research for sustainable development in arid zones", which will be held onAugust 17-18, 2023 in Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgyzstan.

Chinese Academy of Science

Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, CAS

Xinjiang Agricultural University

Aim of the conference:

• Discussion of actual environmental problems in the field of water resources and glaciology, biodiversity, climate change, natural disasters, sustainable use of grasslands;

• Exchange information, knowledge, experience and strengthen cooperation between scientists.

Field trips: 4 paid excursions in the following directions are planned:

• Ala-Archa- National Natural Park (Chui region)

• Son-Kul –  Alpine lake (Naryn region)

• Chon-Kyzyl-Suu – Gorge (Issyk Kul region)

• Sary-Chelek – Mountain lake (Jalal-Abad region)

Important Deadlines:

• Registration form before 10 June 2023.

• Papers, Posters and Presentations before 30 June 2023.
